The best adaptation of Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol came from the Muppets. There are several adaptations about Ebenezer Scrooge but A Muppet Christmas Carol is the movie closest to Dickens original work in both tone and content. (Outside of the fun musical numbers anyhow.) If you don't cry by the end, I don't think you understand what Christmas is all about.
