Peter Seller's The Pink Panther is a great series of films, but more incredibly, they spawned over 100 short cartoons based solely on a character in the opening credits. Based on the film's intro title sequences, the Blake Edwards character became one of the most iconic cartoon characters in the later 20th century. No other opening sequence spawned such success and outperformed the film in which it came from.
