On June 25th, 2020 Jenna Marbles released a video called “A Message”, announcing she would be leaving her YouTube channel indefinitely. This decision came after a number of viewers demanded an explanation for her past content. Not only was this situation sad because a beloved creator was leaving the platform, but it also marked the end of authenticity.
