When it comes to finance, one thing I’ve learned is that you can’t completely ignore the numbers. If you do, you risk building something that won’t last.
For me, building a 100-year, long-term sustainable business means one thing above all else: profitability. Profit allows you to reinvest back into the company, gives you the security to weather inevitable macroeconomic surprises, and ultimately ensures the business can survive and thrive for decades to come.
That’s why I’ll always believe profit is just as important as growth it’s the foundation for everything else.
