In the midst of a mental health crisis, finding a therapist who takes your insurance can feel impossible. Insurers say that’s because there aren’t enough therapists. But that’s not entirely true.
We heard from more than 500 mental health care providers who left their networks because of red tape, low reimbursement rates, delayed payments and more.
