When we are talking about fair playing time and positions in youth baseball, you just DO NOT know how your kids career is going to turn out. Infielder now might be an outfielder later…just like my former teammate who played outfield in D1 because there wasn’t an infield spot. Well-rounded players find a spot in the lineup. Ones who are not well-rounded will not. Move kids around!
