Resident Evil's stalkers were once so exciting, but these days their inclusion feels like more of a box ticking exercise than it does developer Capcom trying to do anything interesting.
Back in the late 90s, the Tyrant, Mr X and Nemesis each felt like something new and fresh across their respective games in the Resident Evil trilogy, whereas Jack Baker, Lady Dimitrescu, remake Mr X and remake Nemesis are all broadly the same thing.
With Resident Evil: Requiem also having its own stalker, I think this time around Capcom really needs to pull their finger out.
