Peter compares the importance to him of the observation by Henry Brownson and Alexis de Tocqueville that the American family is erased after the father dies to the importance of the creationist movement starting in 1970 and the homeschool movement starting in the early 80’s and the recent awakening of the evangelicals to the lies of C.I. Scofield. Until the father of the American family restores godly order and godliness back into his family, including restoring the inalienable rights of his firstborn son, the United States as a country or nation has little chance of real spiritual survival.
The natural law requires that the father raise up his eldest son to take his place of leadership in the family on his death and that would naturally and biblically include giving him his “double portion.” Unfortunately the British did not practice biblical primogeniture and instead of obeying God’s Word and giving the eldest son just a double portion they gave the eldest most everything. Thomas Jefferson reacted radically against this and went to the opposite extreme and disobeyed God’s Word even more. He, by his legislation gave the eldest son nothing above the other siblings. This prevented him from being an actual leader of the family and effectively taking the father’s place. This one simple move of denying the eldest son of his natural and divine rights immediately paved the way for replacing the family as the main unit of society with companies and other money making entities.
