For years, my students have been telling me the exact same thing: "Alexandra, Greeks speak way too fast. I can't catch a single word!" And honestly? I get it. When I speak in my native language, I don’t think about levels or speed. I just talk!
In today's video, I wanted to share a little secret with you: It’s not actually the speed that’s blocking you. It’s a trick your brain is playing on you . As someone who speaks English with a Greek accent , I know exactly how frustrating it feels to be one second behind in a conversation. That’s why I’m not giving you textbook advice today. We are looking at real, simple science to train your brain to stop panicking and start truly hearing Greek.
