Next up is a resort that’s been quietly making major improvements to its wayfinding. Over the past few seasons, Mammoth has overhauled its signage, addressing long-standing issues that made navigating the mountain more difficult than it needed to be.
The resort has introduced more comprehensive maps—including lodge directories—and redesigned its trail signage, replacing an outdated and often confusing color-coding system. While not every sign on the mountain has been updated yet, the most heavily trafficked junctions and lower-mountain areas have seen significant upgrades.
These changes have made getting around @mammothmountain noticeably easier, and as a result, we're raising the resort’s navigation score from a 4 to a 5.
