While several Vermont ski resorts span multiple peaks, Stratton is a single mountain with one summit and two base areas. The resort is essentially divided into two sides: the main side, which offers terrain for all ability levels and benefits from north-facing slopes, and the Sun Bowl side, which features more vertical drop, slightly more challenging terrain, and smaller crowds.

@strattonresort isn’t the most beginner-focused resort in Vermont, but novices will still find a decent experience here. Beginner-friendly green runs are accessible from the summit, though these popular trails can get crowded, especially during peak times.
