injured dUmbass 🧪 TESTING FUNCTIONAL PATTERNS | EP.09
A physical therapist with a Functional Patterns bonus. Why Functional Patterns? Alex Parengkuan shares his personal story and how he got started with physical therapy and Functional Patterns.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In this video series I want to show you a bit more of the Functional Patterns practitioner's viewpoint and proces. You see a lot of before and afters with awesome results, but what is happening during those pictures? I can't show everything, but enough to get you in to the world of this promising knowledge! In episode 1 of this playlist:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJT_N...
Alex Parengkuan notices a anterior pelvic tilt combined with duck feet and a kyphosis and goes to work...
Maybe you wonder if Functional Patterns really works, just like me. Doing 7 years of experimenting with online knowledge and the following profession:
✔️ 14 Physiotherapists
✔️ 1 Chiropractor
✔️ 1 Knee surgeon with surgery
✔️ 1 Podiatrist
✔️ 2 Rolfers
✔️ David Berceli – TRE
✔️ Gerben Hierck - PDTR
✔️ Wim Hof – Wim Hof Method
✔️ Harry Hoogenbosch - Anatomy Trains
I learned a lot working with these people. Some problems got fixed, but a complete fix is still not there. So, I got obsessed with finding answers myself and stumbled upon Functional Patterns when I was diving into myofascial release and biomechanics. I reached out to Alex Parengkuan, head of Functional Patterns Netherlands in Rotterdam.
My injurie status at October 9th, 2017:
🔴 Shoulder impingement (left)
🔴 Bad Knee pain (left)
🔴 Breathing restriction
This is the first time I test Functional Patterns with a practitioner. In this video Alex checks my posture and notices duck feet and a posterior pelvic tilt plus kyphosis posture. We dive in to:
✔️ Why Functional Patterns
✔️From physcial therapist to Functional Patterns
✔️ Why physical therapy and Functional Patterns help eachother
✔️ Functional Patterns and physcial therapy can make you a better therapist
✔️ Does Functional Patterns really work in the eyes of Alex Parengkuan?
