Generosity often raises fears — fears of not having enough, fears of losing comfort, even fears of going without. And that fear often holds people back from giving radically. But Jesus promises that those who seek the kingdom first will be provided for.

Even if everything were given away, and life ended in hunger, what a way to meet the Lord, stepping into eternity having sought His kingdom first. That’s not a tragedy. That’s a victory!
