Did you notice this in Hazbin Hotel?
A while ago I made an interesting theory about charlie’s horns, and why she deliberately hides them. You might’ve also noticed that a similar thing happens with her crown, let me explain.
So throughout the show we see that lucifer, charlie and lilith all possess crowns. Lucifer has his wrapped around his hat, lilith wears it in various portraits, and we see charlie with it on in old photographs.
The crown operates similarly to charlie’s horns, where she deliberately hides it. The one time it’s visible however is when she gets angry and transforms into her demon form.
We also see the crown in an old drawing from viv, and charlie was originally meant to wear it in an image from the news segment in the pilot, but this was changed.
Personally I think Charlie's heritage and royal duties will be an important plotpoint in season 2. She is the princess of hell, and will have to explain to heaven why adam died, and try to prevent an all out war between the two factions.
