As woodcarvers we often start our journey making wood spirits or other caricatures and they can be a lot of fun and a great challenge. But I decided to put a face on something else, and create a moon spirit. You can see every step I took including the use of my sloyd knife and small carving knife, as well as a wood sealer formula and the use of an interesting painting and wood colouring technique. I hope you enjoy it!

To grab the template for the moon spirit and over 30 other carvings that I designed you can sign up to be a part of The Bendyboy Society on Patreon or YouTube memberships.
