And why is only one used in the congregations, while the other is advertized for government and child protection officials.
The child protection policy of the Watchtower can be found by anyone and its not a bad policy. If it was used by the elders and openly read by the members of Jehovah Witnesses, it would solv many of the porblems adressed in the Australian Royal Commision.
JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES’ SCRIPTURALLY BASED POSITION
ON CHILD PROTECTION can be found on the JW.org webpage.
Its intended to be read by government officials and child protection agencies. But the "scripturally based possition" is not painting a correct picture of what take place in a kingdom hall on a weekly basis.
It states under §7:
"Congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses do not separate children from their parents for the purpose of instruction or other activities. (Ephesians 6:4) For example, our congregations do not provide or sponsor orphanages, Sunday schools, sports clubs, day-care centers, youth groups, or other activities that separate children from their parents"
This is obviously not true, since JW often separate children from their parents in the door to door ministry, and when a child must meet with elders prior to baptism.
My question with this video is: How many Jehovah Witnesse elders have even heard of this document? And how many elders have used this document side by side with the secret eldersbook (shepher the flock of god)
