Why do beach cruiser bikes still exist? I have an old beach cruiser that I bought in the 1990s made by Huffy, and I still take it for rides on the beach, even though I have newer, more modern, and faster, bikes, and I even have some really great E bikes. But sometimes you just want to take it easy and go slow and easy on the beach. The beach cruiser is the perfect vehicle for this, and if you feel like going fast, you can’t. You only have one speed, so you have to slow down and enjoy the view. I believe beach cruisers will always exist because they are comfortable, very simple to ride and maintain, and they’re great for slow cruises along the beach, whether you live by the ocean, or by a river, or a reservoir or a lake. The beach cruiser bicycle has a place in this world, and I’m glad people are still buying them and companies are still making beach cruiser bicycles. My bicycle in the video is one of the last Huffy good vibrations beach cruisers that was made in the United States of America. You can still buy a Huffy good vibrations bike, but they’re all made overseas now. They still look great though.
