In this video, we look at a Eurobike G4 folding mountain bike that someone has converted into an e-bike. I have a Eurobike G4, and people have asked me if it could be converted into an electric bike. Normally, I tell them yes, but I don’t think it is sturdy enough to handle all of that power. In this video, I met a person who rides a Eurobike G4 folding mountain bike that he converted into an electric bike himself. He says it works, but it’s a little bit wiggly. So far it hasn’t broken. He did replace the rear wheel with a three speed internally geared hub. He also upgraded to hydraulic brakes. And he changed the stem and handlebars. That’s a lot of upgrades to put into a cheap bike, but he has a lot of fun with it.
