David Bruce Composer | Why Copyright Law STEALS From Us All @DBruce | Uploaded April 2019 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
Copyright law is meant to work as an incentive to artists but the length of copyright has become so long (over 100 years after creation in many cases) that it prevents new art from interacting with it - and art was never made in a vacuum, so the current set up is ruining the creative environment and preventing us from having a lively and self-referential culture.
