A brighter MacBook screen does not mean you have to run it at maximum brightness all day. I normally keep my MacBook Pro or iPad Pro around 50% to 60%, but the extra brightness is handy when I take it outside.

My MacBook Air can still be hard to see at 100% in direct sunlight, especially with glare. Do you usually use your laptop indoors or outside?
