Sometimes I think… why bother???
I can buy a dress at the store, I can buy fresh sourdough bread at the farmers market, I can get vegetables at the grocery store…
However,
The sheer gratification and satisfaction that comes from learning something on my own and producing and creating with my own two hands is so worth it to me.
It is such a joy to craft the things that are meant for human life… food, clothing, growing a garden… I think we were meant for work like this!
