Peace and Blessings, All.

Do you agree that there is a certain power in words? That is my belief and I am more conscious of the words I choose to use more than most. This may come a shock or not but, I personally do not identify with the term "black", some reasons are explained briefly in the vlog, but it's definitely a conversation I'd like to have with you all in the comments, if you'd like. I do identify with "human" or "living breathing sentient" or at least "Indigenous Aboriginal"
I also talk briefly about the importance of asking for help when we need to. What I forgot to mention is people who love to help others can and usually are taken advantage of. What you do with that knowledge, I leave to you.
Most of this vlog I wanted to layout a repeatable potty training process for all the potty trainer parents out there, but I noticed that I could've done a better job at enumerating the steps.
Step 1
Exercise your breath. Take deep inhales and longer exhales. Drive safely to get a potty reducer. I got mine from Walmart. Pick up some apple juice while you’re out.
Step 2
Plan not to go anywhere for a few days. Speak gently into baby that this will be a new experience and we all go through it as a right of passage. Give baby apple juice.
Step 3
Closely monitor baby, look for patterns of behavior and bring them to the potty every hour they're awake to give them an opportunity to relieve themselves. When they succeed, praise them ; when they do not pee or poop, reassure them that you love them but would like them to use the potty from now on. Show them how you use it.
Step 4
Baby should now be actively signaling in their own way that they want to do. Many times baby will not pee or poop but will want to go because that's what babies do to us. Remember to breathe. Remind yourself that you can do this. Start bringing them out into the world repeating this step.
Step 5
After a few days, baby should be able to signal, use, and flush the potty all on their own. Washing hands becomes a fun post potty ritual. Pat yourself on your back. You've done it.
