Today, I walked into a place I never thought I’d be—the cold, sterile walls of a chicken processing plant. I did it out of desperation. Out of love for my daughters. Out of pressure to “get a job.” But what I witnessed in there reminded me exactly why I’ve spent years chasing freedom over security.
