The Gut-Wrenching Reason Andy Loved Buzz More Than Woody | Pixar Toy Story
“You’ve got a friend in me,” or so Woody thought just moments before Andy nearly abandoned him for a new toy that he got for his birthday. When Andy first got Buzz, he treated that toy like it was the holy grail and immediately switched from being a fan of the wild west to dreaming about fighting alongside Buzz Lightyear in outer space. For a while, this sudden switch-up seemed a little bit weird for a child that was Andy’s age during the first Toy Story. However, after looking into some fan theories and rewatching the franchise, it looks like there might be a pretty powerful reason why Andy loved Buzz Lightyear so much. But be warned, it might just break your heart.
