Elizabeth Arif-Fear is writer and campaigner passionate about human rights and interfaith relations, in particular Jewish-Muslim relations. Laura Marks is a serial social entrepreneur focussed on the common good. She founded Mitzvah Day, an international and interfaith day of social action, co-founded Nisa-Nashim, a Jewish/Muslim women’s network, and just launched the Alliance of Jewish Women.
Jewish/Muslim relations in the real world, are at best minimal, and at worst fraught. In this session we explore some of the challenges including Muslim antisemitism, anti-Muslim hatred in the Jewish community and the Elephant in the Room. We will go on to offer some ideas for ways forward including, how a woman’s touch can be transformative.
