Chris Hewer has been engaged in the study of Islam and Christian-Muslim relations since 1986. He is a former Adviser on Inter-Faith Relations to the Bishop of Birmingham, a former Fellow of St Ethelburga’s Centre for Reconciliation and Peace. He is the author of Understanding Islam – the First Ten Steps and has trained extensively on the subject, specialising on Christian audiences.
