There's no denying that A Minecraft Movie will end up being one of the highest grossing movies of 2025. The initially ridiculed movie was able to (somewhat) turn its reputation around, and make almost a billion dollars at the box office. This would be fine if the movie was unironically great and it perfectly captured why people love Minecraft, similar to the Sonic and (to a lesser extent) Mario movies, but unfortunately... it doesn't. No amount of funny memes will save this thing I'm afraid.
