A new trailer was released for the initially highly anticipated but now highly polarizing fifth installment of Dreamworks' beloved Shrek franchise, and sadly, it doesn't seem like the film's online reputation will improve with this new trailer.

Contrary to what people thought with the movie's delay from December 2026 to June 2027, the controversial more cartoony redesigns of these iconic characters are here to stay.

While I don't doubt that the movie could still be good even with the admittedly bad redesigns, there are several other things about this trailer that leave me concerned for how this movie will turn out.
