In the first edition of HENSOLDT’s ‘Who We Are’ series, HENSOLDT UK , formerly known as Kelvin Hughes, tells the story of a proud and enviable history dating back over 250 years. This video takes the viewer though the current life of the organization and how it has evolved over the years.
HENSOLDT acquired Kelvin Hughes in September 2017. Prior to the acquisition, there is quite a story to be told on the evolution of the organization. Apart from the profound history rooting back to the famous scientist, Lord Kelvin, over the past 10 years Kelvin Hughes has revolutionized radar technology in the market with its core product SharpEye™.
In this video Russell Gould, Managing Director of HENSOLDT UK, and Adrian Pilbeam, Head of Ground and Maritime Surveillance Radar Sales, explain the reasoning behind the acquisition of Kelvin Hughes, and how SharpEye™ products have shaped the future of military radar.
