ESA´s JUICE mission is set to launch on April 13th 2023 – and HENSOLDT is on board!

The Ganymede Laser Altimeter (GALA), developed by HENSOLDT and Fraunhofer IOF is part of the mission to explore the icy moons of Jupiter and will measure the topography of Jupiter's largest moon Ganymede.

In the context of the German Lothar-Späth-Award 2021, Kai Weidlich, Head of Space Technologies at HENSOLDT´s Optronics division, explained more about our contribution to JUICE.
