I have decided to take you all on this adventure as I explore the White River Formation in Northwest Nebraska! This place has become one of my favorite places to visit and I am super excited to show you all around! So come with me on this adventure!
After having such a productive day on the Plateau, and getting chased off by a storm that ended shortly after we left. The entire team was eager to head back to the same spot. And we were not even there 20 minutes before a tortoise was seen eroding out of the hill.
The team was pretty sure it was a fairly small tortoise. and estimated it at about 12 inches across... So I started digging, figuring I could get it out of the ground by lunch...
I was wrong.
