I have decided to take you all on this adventure as I explore the White River Formation in Northwest Nebraska! This place has become one of my favorite places to visit and I am super excited to show you all around! So come with me on this adventure!
So the tortoise that we found yesterday turned out to be a bit larger than first expected...
By the end of day 9 I had dug around it for around 7 hours and I managed to put a cast of plaster and burlap around it. However despite the efforts of the entire team we were unable to get this thing out of the ground.
So we went back to base, gathered our tools and prepared to head back out for the final day tomorrow...
And we awoke with one mission: Extract that tortoise by any means necessary.
