But now, I have even more exciting T rex related news! Back in 2020, the famous T rex specimen named Stan was auctioned off to an at the time anonymous buyer for almost 32 million dollars, and for a long time it was a mystery who bought this extremely important fossil...
Well, now not only do we know who bought it, but the specimen is on display at the Abu Dhabi Museum of Natural History, which opened its doors on November 22 2025!
