It has been quite a while since I did a video about which video cameras I use for live productions. And why I chose the cameras that I did. So here we go...

I use Sony 1-inch sensor camcorders from the PXW, NX, and in some cases FDR series for most of the live events that I produce. Here are those models...

I want to mention that while I have chosen Sony for my cameras, there aren't really any "bad" choices in the professional camcorder market. Everybody making these products is doing a fantastic job! You wouldn't be going wrong with any one of the big brands!
