This is quite possibly the most iconic “As Seen In” scarf ID’s to date because tonight we are identifying Jane Birkin’s scarf. Yes, like that Birkin. She’s the inspiration behind the Birkin bag, but before the Birkin bag she made a name for herself as an actress. One of my favorite of her films is “La Piscine” where she played Penelope alongside Alain Delon and Romy Schneider who was also in “La Mouton Enragè” (or also called “Love At The Top”), which is tonight’s scarf ID movie! In this movie we see Jane Birkin in an office scene wearing a very 70’s burnt orange outfit with of course, a scarf to match. To find this scarf I searched scarf photos starting in 1970 until I found it from 1971. So which scarf is it? Jane Birkin is wearing “Skyros” by Julie Abadie!
