When playing a blues, or many other genres (rock, jazz, country, bluegrass) you often have a choice between soloing with a major blues scale or a minor blues scale. In this video I look at how to make an informed choice, based on looking at the opening chord, the vocal melody, the guitar or bass riffs, and the overall genre. This is part of an ongoing series explaining many aspects, assuming no previous knowledge and working from the simplest possible starting point. The whole series will be available on my Patreon Page, along with all the associated pdf's.
