Perched improbably on the chimney of The Duncombe Arms, Santa looked as though he’d made a very deliberate pit stop in Ellastone. Boots braced against the cold brickwork, sack slung over one shoulder, he paused to peer down into the warm glow below—where laughter spilled out with the light, and the promise of good ale and good company hung in the winter air.
For a moment, it felt entirely right that even Santa would choose this chimney: a place of fireside warmth, local cheer, and a welcome hearty enough to rival the North Pole itself. 🎄🍺
He liked it so much hes still there, I bet Mrs Claus is wondering where he is.
