On March 11 2021, 24-year-old Cassie Sheetz disappeared after she allegedly went hiking with two male friends at Spruce Knob in West Virginia. The two men claim that the trio became separated once it was dark out and that they were unable to find Cassie throughout the night. When police and volunteers searched the trail the days following her disappearance, there was no trace of Cassie found.
