Assistant professor Rebekah Kading and colleagues from the CSU Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology and the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering have developed a unique method to track disease-carrying mosquitoes. This process involves getting larval mosquitoes to eat harmless particles made entirely of DNA and proteins that tags them with a kind of 'barcode'.
