If you've just updated your flight controller and taken a look in the goggles. You may have noticed something is different. Before, there was a "flight mode" that read AIR in the OSD. Now it shows ACRO, so what's going on?
The short answer is that AIR shouldn't have really been in the OSD in the first place. This is because Airmode is not a flight mode, but a flight mode modifier, or extension. It sits on top of actual flight modes, like Acro, Angle, or Horizon, and increases stability at low throttle. So, previously when you saw AIR in the OSD, you were actually flying in Acro. But because Airmode can be used with Acro, Angle, and Horizon; it makes no sense to replace ACRO with AIR. So this bug has now been fixed, and hopefully people will start giving the flight mode it's actual name. Acro.
