In this video we check out the SpeedyBee F405 V3 stack. This is a bit of a departure for me as this is for a quad flight controller. There are a couple of reasons why I'm looking at a quad stack flight controller. One is that I am enjoying flying quads, ad would like to start making some quad content on the channel. Don't worry, fixed wing will still be my main focus. But I would like to make some quad related videos that I feel may help people. The other reason is that there is a lot of interest in VTOL at the moment. And a flight controller like this, may be an option for a VTOL aircraft, depending on if motors 5-8 can be reassigned as servo outputs.
This stack has an F405 chip, which is nice at this price point. The only potential downside, is that the ESC is BLHeli_S. But, with the Bluejay firmware, that's not really an issue. Anyway, let's see how the SpeedyBee F405 V3 stacks up.
