Where are you allowed to film?
I make videos about London but I'm always being told that I can't film there because I'm "professional"! But I'm just making videos for youtube like any of the other tourists in exactly the same place! What constitutes a professional video?

Are you allowed to film as long as you are not wearing a bowler hat? Is it only if you have a furry microphone that you are professional? After all, people film movies on their mobile phones.
Can anyone film in a public place? Does anyone have the right to stop you? What is the law on filming in public or in tourist areas. how about "Private property"? Like outside an art gallery.
Please tell me your experiences and what you know of the law on this.
