In Capcom vs SNK 2, using C-Groove you could cancel any Lv.2 Super into Specials, Taunts, Other Supers and some other stuff. It was a fundamental, developer intended part of the game.

A couple of things that aren't super obvious. In the Ryu Clip, the Tatsu Super is being cancelled into an air tatsu in order to make Ryu hit the ground sooner and allow for the follow up. Also, in the Ken clip, if you don't cancel the recovery of the super into a tatsu you simply can't juggle afterwards. Not because you land sooner but because the combo system was really weird. You can see in the example at 3:01 that the cr.HP simply whiffs if you don't do the cancel.
