Last week's major Doctor Who announcement cancelled the 2026 Christmas special, which would have featured Billie Piper returning to the series after Ncuti Gatwa's regeneration scene. She has previous played Rose Tyler, Bad Wolf, and the Moment. Would she have been the Doctor this time? And now that the series has been put out to tender by the BBC, when will we see her reprise the role?
