Armstrong Mtn Adirondacks. My 4th time visiting this peak, first attempt for winter...But sometimes safety has to come first. The hardest thing for a hiker to do is quit even when you can see your destination. Bailing on a summit to remain safe helps make sure you will be around to hike another day.
