I recorded the song, "When He Was On The Cross" and this is a zoom shot of my hands on the fretboard if you'd like to study my finger picking. I really like this staccato technique on the steel guitar, which makes a connection with the listener's heart I think. Most of great steel playing is technique, technique, technique (that is, how you execute each and every little maneuver on the guitar). Great tone is everything and is composed of about 50 different things. I have a long way to go!!!
