Back in 2010 I uploaded a quick video a quick proof of concept that the Bounty has been met to be able to use Geos & Wheels on an SD2IEC/uIEC (same thing). That was for not just D64 (1541 images), but also D71 (1571 images), D81 (1581 images) and even DNP (CMD Hard Drive partition images, up to 16MB). The hardware used here include CMD SuperCPU with 16MB SuperRAM, mentioned SD2IEC, real 1571 drives and VDC output (aka 80 column mode). I was probably the first person to upload any VDC content to Youtube.

"A quick and dirty video demonstrating Wheels 128 v4.4 (aka Geos 4) running directly from a uIEC/CF (compact flash reader), on my Commodore 128 Tower with SuperCPU 128. In the future I will do other videos focusing more on specific uses and specific software. This video is simply proof of Wheels running from he uIEC. Geos and Wheels support to the sd2iec firmware is thanks to a completed bounty of Commodore Bounty and the efforts of programmer Ingo Korb."
