Tesla’s Standard All-Wheel Drive Cybertruck takes a distinctly different approach from the premium AWD model. Its coil-sprung chassis, 18-inch Molten wheels, revised drive modes, and simplified equipment create a truck with its own strengths, limitations, and upgrade potential.
With our first Standard AWD Cybertruck in the shop, we’re examining how these engineering and equipment decisions affect ride comfort, accessibility, interior experience, cargo utility, off-road capability, and everyday use. We also get the truck onto a lift to see what the fixed-height adaptive suspension reveals about this new platform.
This truck will serve as a development platform for upcoming Unplugged Performance and UP INVINCIBLE upgrades, beginning with our Heavy Duty Rock Sliders and Side Steps. Subscribe and stay tuned as we test it off-road, explore Rally Mode, and determine which upgrades make the biggest difference.
