As law enforcement agencies are increasingly piloting, testing and adopting Tesla vehicles, our UP.FIT EVOC events have provided valuable opportunities for experienced EVOC instructors to push the limits of these UP.FIT Tesla vehicles and train patrol officers. This event focused on real-world driving scenarios and a goal to maximize the performance capabilities of UP.FIT Tesla vehicles on a challenging EVOC track. Watch as officers – some driving a Tesla for the first time – evaluate the UP.FIT Model Y and UP.FIT Cybertruck performance compared to legacy gasoline patrol vehicles like the Ford Explorer PIU, the Chevrolet Tahoe and the Dodge Durango as well as some deployed electric vehicles from legacy manufacturers. With permission, we captured their honest reactions and insights throughout the day.
