The Ancient Greeks loved a glass of wine. Well, the men did anyway! Women were not admitted to the infamous Ancient Greek drinking event known as a symposium. These parties were full of entertainment with music, dancing, drinking games and philosophical discussions all playing a role. The tradition was adopted by the Romans and the Etruscans, albeit with some startling differences!
